KISSPEPTIN-10
Kisspeptin-10
GPR54 Receptor Ligand for In Vitro Research
Kisspeptin-10 is a synthetic decapeptide corresponding to the C-terminal active fragment of the full-length Kisspeptin protein. It binds selectively to the GPR54 (KISS1R) receptor, a G-protein coupled receptor involved in phosphatidylinositol signaling pathways. Kisspeptin-10 is structurally optimized to preserve high-affinity receptor activation in cell-based assays.
This peptide is commonly used in in vitro studies to investigate GPCR activation, signal transduction via PLC and IP3 pathways, and calcium mobilization. Due to its short chain length and preserved bioactive core, Kisspeptin-10 demonstrates efficient receptor targeting and is suitable for concentration-dependent signaling assays.
Its unmodified linear structure maintains native functionality, while the lyophilized form ensures chemical stability and reproducibility under controlled experimental conditions.
